The Table Filière des Insectes Comestibles (TFIC) aims to promote the emergence and progress of the edible insect production and processing sector. Its mission is to define the actions to be undertaken to tackle common issues according to 10 priority axes (characterization of deposits, production, regulation, distribution, quality management systems, representation, marketing, staff training, R&D and awareness of the General public).

The TFIC is made up of private members and ministries supported by different partners. The initiative brings together 32 members within 7 links:

  • Food inputs
  • Production and primary processing
  • Secondairy processing
  • Insects - animals market
  • Insects - humans market
  • Marchés - frass
  • PHQ training, education et awareness
